I am interested in a monologue-style podcast and confirmed this by listening to the samples. I chose this style because I like to work in isolation. Also, I am creative, and want to have control over the creative aspect of the podcast.
I am interested in learning how to edit sound, and in particular, what the rules are for including sound clips from videos or other archived media. I am hoping that my podcast can feature relevant authors and experts (mostly long-dead) as an alternative to interviews.
I do know that anything in the public domain can be used freely, and a colleague on another project recently shared this resource with me: https://www.loc.gov/collections/national-jukebox/about-this-collection/
